ImEPIK and the Cannabis Hub, powered by Cleveland School of Cannabis, have joined forces to develop the next generation of cannabis leaders, and provide the latest training on effective food safety practices for edibles producers.
Our 100% online Cannabis Edibles Safety Course combines the convenience of on-demand training with state-of-the-art content that’s specific to those providing ingredients or manufacturing cannabis-infused products such as baked goods, chocolate, gummies and beverages.
Plus, you can train your entire operation and get each employee the level of skill needed with our three-part course. Take a level by itself, or take all three – its modular nature means it’s customizable to an individual’s learning needs.
Here’s how the course works:
Level I: GMPs and The Pyramid of Edible Safety
This course is for those who are new to the industry or who need a better understanding of edibles production and how to make uniform edibles that are free of contamination.
When edibles are federally regulated in the US, they will be regulated like food is today. ThIs course explains why a food framework is suitable for cannabis-infused edibles and introduces concepts like Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and hazard analysis.
This course contains three modules and takes approximately 3 hours to complete. Trainees will have up to 6 months to complete the course.
